The Acne Aviator Jacket dupes you need RN

If you ask any gal to pick four staple jackets and coats for Autumn/Winter, the aviator jacket is almost guaranteed to feature on that list. The perfect mix of practicality (they are warm af) and looking timelessly stylish has made them THE outerwear of choice for AW16, the ultimate being the Acne Studios Velocite number which, for a cool £1900, ain't exactly purse friendly if you're the kinda gal that struggles with splashing out £10 Prosecco as opposed to the £6 bottle.

Luckily, ya gal has scouted out some rather convincing alternatives your bank account will thank you for. I picked up this absolute beauty from Zara which was a mere 5% of the price of the Acne version (correct me if I'm wrong, my maths ain't great lol), which in my opinion is as good a dupe as you'll find. Although not genuine leather, both the lining and outer feel incredibly soft and it has that chunky quality that creases in the way real shearling does. It's also super oversized like an old vintage jacket - I'm wearing a size XS as it was the only size they had left, which I wouldn't usually wear but you can see is still pretty roomy!

The Zara jacket is unfortunately sold out online (you might be able to snatch one of the last ones in store though!), but I've picked out some other affordable options below. Thank me later when you're looking cool but feeling toasty!
